1. What is the Cashflow Club?
It is a DC Ranch Community Cashflow Club with the goal to increase financial intelligence of our community. We meet once a month in one of the DC Ranch amenities (Desert Camp or The Homestead) and play the Cashflow® game. When we get together, we generally have 50-100 people in our meetings. We usually invite successful guest speakers to share their knowledge and experience with us on what they did to “Escape the Rat Race”, then we play the Cashflow game and network with each other. We encourage you to go to www.dcranchcashflowclub.blogspot.com. to find out more about who will be speaking at each meeting...but regardless of who is speaking even just playing the game is more than worth coming for!
2. How does the Cashflow Club apply to me?
If you are a motivated person who wants to learn and get control of his/her life, Cashflow club is a great place for you to network and meet like-mined people that are business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs (or would like to be one). You not only will have fun playing the Cashflow® game but also will learn from our speakers and network.
3. How could I benefit from becoming a member?
What's your dream? Freedom of time? Unlimited resources to travel the world? Build your own charity? Whatever it may be, Cashflow ® board game teaches you how to get out of the Rat Race and onto the Fast Track, where your money works for you instead of you working hard for your money.
You do not have to know how to play Cashflow® game or be a successful investor to come to our events. You can join us for whole session of educational seminar and then play the Cashflow game or you can participate only for one part.
Frank and I as founders of DC Ranch Cashflow club, actively search for high quality speakers and plan ahead for new series of educational seminars based on the latest market trends. Our 2009 spring seminars are about “Self-directed Retirement accounts” thought by J.P. Dahdah President of Entrust Arizona. Many of us are frustrated with stock market roller coaster and want to take control of our retirement accounts. Many people do not know that they can self direct their retirement accounts or they do not know how to do this. For example, did you know that you can buy real estate or mortgage notes or paper bonds with your Self-Directed IRA or even invest in your own specialty?
4. How does Cashflow tie in to Rich Dad Poor Dad?
Cashflow® game is an educational board game designed by Robert Kiyosaki (author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad) and his Team, which aims to teach the players concepts of investing by having their money work for them in a risk free setting (play money) while simultaneously increasing their financial literacy and stressing the imperative nature of accountability.
I imagine that you are probably already familiar with the book Rich Dad Poor Dad, with the author Robert Kiyosaki, and/or with the game Cashflow. If you aren’t familiar with any of this you can go to http://www.richdad.com/ and get plenty of information there.
5. What are the top two principles of Cashflow?
Games like the Cashflow® board game are a powerful mechanism because they reflect our true behavior. As a learning tool, games enable people to “learn by doing.” Very often, the learning process is so fun that we sometimes forget that a key purpose of playing a game like Cashflow is to heighten financial literacy.
CASHFLOW® 101 is an innovative educational board game that is designed to make the subject of accounting, investments and finance fun. This unique Rich Dad game teaches financial intelligence - how to understand the game of money and investing (skills not taught in school) ... and makes learning fun! Take the first STEP.... attend a CASHFLOW event and learn about assets vs. liabilities, how to teach your children to become financially independent in young age and increase your financial intelligence.
